PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2760 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVING A <br />MODIFICATION TO AN APPROVED CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO <br />ALLOW FOR REGULARLY SCHEDULED FREIGHT DELIVERY FLIGHTS <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE UP-85-19 FOR PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE <br />COMPANY <br />WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company of America has applied for <br />a modification to an approved conditional use permit to <br />allow for regularly scheduled freight delivery flights <br />at an approved heliport facility, located on a portion <br />of an approximately 2.3 acre site located at the <br />southeast corner of the intersection of Owens Drive and <br />Chabot Drive. Zoning for the property is 2-G (General <br />Industrial) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of February 12, <br />1986 the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, this project is exempt from the requirements of CEQA. <br />Therefore, no environmental documents accompanies this <br />case. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves the modification to Case UP-85-19 as <br />requested subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That the operations of the freight service shall <br />substantially conform to those plans and details <br />described in the letters from the applicant dated <br />January 16, 1986 and February 4, 1986. <br />2. That all the conditions of approval of cases <br />UP-85-19 and Z-85-176 as contained in Resolutions <br />No. 2686 and 2687 shall continue to be in full force <br />and effect. <br />3. That drop boxes be installed within Hacienda <br />Business Park where appropriate within 90 days of <br />the commencement of this service. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after <br />its passage and adoption. <br />
