PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2761 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE PUD-86-2 FOR REID/MYERS <br />DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION <br />WHEREAS, Reid/Myers Development Corporation has applied for <br />rezoning from CS (Commercial Service) District to PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development) - Commercial District and <br />development plan approval for an 800 unit, <br />two-structure, three-story mini-storage facility on an <br />approximately 1.3 acre site located at 3722 Old Santa <br />Rita Road; and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of February 19, 1986 the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />Case PUD-86-2; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated February 6, 1986 and received the <br />recommendation of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on February 19, <br />1986 and the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of negative <br />declarations and environmental impact reports, and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that there would not be any significant impacts upon <br />the environment by approving the application and <br />recommended adoption of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for this case. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the <br />review of the Initial Study and the testimony and <br />documentary evidence presented at the public hearing <br />that there will be no significant adverse impacts on <br />the environment as a result of approval of the subject <br />application. <br />Section 2. Recommends approval of the negative declaration <br />prepared for Case PUD-86-2, as herein described. <br />- 1 - <br />
