PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2765 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON DENYING CASE PUD-80-15-4D, MICHAEL MARTINEZ <br />WHEREAS, Michael Martinez has applied for development plan <br />approval for an approximately 32,100 sq. ft. shopping <br />center to be located on an approximately 2.6 acre site, <br />located on the north side of Pimlico Drive, <br />approximately 600 feet east of the intersection of <br />Santa Rita Road and Pimlico Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-Commercial District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of February 26, <br />1986 the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of <br />the City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission agreed with City staff that the <br />proposed project would be excessive for the area and <br />that a retail commercial center is not an appropriate <br />use of the site. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. <br />Concurs with staff recommendation and denies Case <br />PUD-80-15-4D, application of Michael Martinez for <br />development plan approval for an approximately 32,100 <br />sq. ft. shopping center located on the north side of <br />Pimlico Drive, approximately 600 feet east of the <br />intersection of Santa Rita Road and Pimlico Drive. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 26TH DAY OF FEBRUARY 1986 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Hoyt, Innes, Michelotti, Wellman, and <br />Vice-Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Chairman Wilson <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />- 1 - <br />
