PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2778 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE PUD-86-3 FOR PUBLIC <br />STORAGE <br />WHEREAS, Public Storage, Inc. has applied for rezoning from the <br />CS (Commercial Service) District to the PUD (Planned <br />unit Development)-Commercial District and development <br />plan approval for 4 building, 81,625 sq. ft. <br />mini-storage facility on an approximately 1.45 acre <br />site located at 3744 and 3768 Old Santa Rita Road; and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of April 9, 1986 the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />case PUD-86-3; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated February 26, 1986 and received the <br />recommendation of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on April 9, 1986 <br />and the public was given the opportunity to comment on <br />the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that there would not be any significant impacts upon <br />the environment by approving the application and <br />recommended adoption of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for this case. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the <br />review of the Initial Study and the testimony and <br />documentary evidence presented at the public hearing <br />that there will be no significant adverse impacts on <br />the environment as a result of approval of the subject <br />application. <br />Section 2. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for Case PUD-86-3, as herein described. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become immediately upon its <br />its passage and adoption. <br />
