PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2'786 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON APPROVING A SIGN PROGRAM FOR TRAMMELL CROW <br />COMPANY AS FILED UNDER CASE Z-86-132 <br />WHEREAS, Trammell-Crow Company, the Val Strough Company and East <br />Bay BMW have all made separate applications seeking <br />design review approval for comprehensive sign programs <br />for their respective sites within the 49 acre <br />commercial/retail center which is located in the <br />southwest corner of the intersection of Santa Rita Road <br />and I-580; and <br />WHEREAS, all of the proposed signs are to identify a group of <br />independent but interrelated sites that have been <br />approved for development; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of May 14, 1986 the <br />Planning Commission considered testimony, related <br />exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning these applications. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves Case Z-86-132, the application of Trammell <br />Crow Company for a signing program for their <br />retail/commercial site located at the southwest corner <br />of the intersection of I-580 and Santa Rita Road subject <br />to the following conditions: <br />1. One 34' high 'Rosewood Pavilion' sign along the <br />freeway frontage which includes up to 3 anchor <br />tenant names, with additional berming at the base to <br />reduce the height of the sign while reducing the <br />size of the structure. <br />2. Two 'Rosewood Pavilion' signs to be located in the <br />northwest and southwest corners of the intersection <br />of Rosewood Avenue and Santa Rita Road. <br />3. One 'retail' pavilion monument sign with no tenant <br />identification. <br />4. No additional pylon monument signs will be allowed; <br />all other tenant signage shall be wall-mounted. <br />
