PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 2'786 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A SIGN PROGRAM FOR TRAMMELL CROW COMPANY AS FILED UNDER CASE Z-86-132 WHEREAS, Trammell-Crow Company, the Val Strough Company and East Bay BMW have all made separate applications seeking design review approval for comprehensive sign programs for their respective sites within the 49 acre commercial/retail center which is located in the southwest corner of the intersection of Santa Rita Road and I-580; and WHEREAS, all of the proposed signs are to identify a group of independent but interrelated sites that have been approved for development; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of May 14, 1986 the Planning Commission considered testimony, related exhibits and recommendations of the City staff concerning these applications. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Approves Case Z-86-132, the application of Trammell Crow Company for a signing program for their retail/commercial site located at the southwest corner of the intersection of I-580 and Santa Rita Road subject to the following conditions: 1. One 34' high 'Rosewood Pavilion' sign along the freeway frontage which includes up to 3 anchor tenant names, with additional berming at the base to reduce the height of the sign while reducing the size of the structure. 2. Two 'Rosewood Pavilion' signs to be located in the northwest and southwest corners of the intersection of Rosewood Avenue and Santa Rita Road. 3. One 'retail' pavilion monument sign with no tenant identification. 4. No additional pylon monument signs will be allowed; all other tenant signage shall be wall-mounted.
