PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2788 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION.~PREPARED FOR CASE GP-86-1, <br />CALLAHAN-PENTZ PROPERTIES <br />WHEREAS, Callahan-Pentz Properties and Prudential Insurance <br />Company of America have applied to amend-the General <br />Plan Land Use Element designation of an approximately <br />10.5 acre site from Commercial and Offices and Public <br />Health and Safety to High Density Residential located <br />generally in the area bounded by Owens Drive, West Las <br />Positas Boulevard, a portion of the former railroad <br />right-of-way of the Southern Pacific Transportation <br />Company and Tassajara Creek; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of May 14, 1986 the <br />Planning Commission received a proposed negative <br />declaration for Case GP-86-1; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated May 7, 1986 and received the <br />recommendation of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that there would not be any significant impacts upon the <br />environment by approving the application and recommended <br />adoption of the Negative Declaration prepared for this <br />case. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the <br />review of the Initial Study and the testimony and <br />documentary evidence presented at the public hearing <br />that there will be no significant adverse impacts on the <br />environment as a result of approval of the subject <br />application. <br />Section 2. <br />Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for Case GP-86-1, as herein described. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />
