PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2791 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE GP-86-2, PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company of America has applied to amend the General Plan Land Use Element designation of an approximately 14.6 acre site from Industrial/Commercial and Offices and Public Health and Safety to High Density Residential located generally in the area bounded by West Las Positas Boulevard, a portion of the former railroad right-of-way of the Southern Pacific Transportation Company, and the right-of-way of the Stoneridge Drive extension; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of May 14, 1986 the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for Case GP-86-2; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated May 7, 1986 and received the recommendation of the staff; and WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there would not be any significant impacts upon the environment by approving the application and recommended adoption of the Negative Declaration prepared for this case. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the review of the Initial Study and the testimony and documentary evidence presented at the public hearing that there will be no significant adverse impacts on the environment as a result of approval of the subject application. Section 2. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for Case GP-86-2, as herein described. Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
