PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 2793 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE PUD-86-6, APPLICATION OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY OF AMERICA WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company of America has applied to rezone an approximately 14.6 acre site from PUD (Planned ~Tnit-'D'evelopment)-Industrial/Commercial and Offices District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-High Density Residential District, located generally in the are bounded by West Las Positas Boulevard, a portion of the former railroad right-of-way of the Southern Pacific Transportation Company, and the right-of-way of the Stoneridge Drive extension; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Industrial/Commercial and Offices District; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of May 14, 1986 the Planning Commission recommended approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for this case as well as recommending approval of a General Plan amendment (GP-86-2) which would allow rezoning of this site; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found PUD (Planned Unit Development) - High Density Residential/Open Space District would conform to the proposed General Plan change. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Recommends Case PUD-86-6 be approved, changing the 14.6 acre site located generally in the area bounded by West Las Positas Boulevard, a portion of the former railroad right-of-way of the Southern Pacific Transportation Company and the right-of-way of the Stoneridge Drive extension from "PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Industrial Commercial and Offices District" to the "PUD (Planned Unit Development)-High Density Residential/Open Space District." Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
