(Prior Code § 1-3.32.05) 2.28.020 Membership; Compensation: The Commission shall be comprised of seven (7) members, all of whom shall be residents of the City. Members of the Commission shall be compensat- ed as established by City Council reso- lution. (Ord. 1674 § 2, 1996; Ord. 1418 § 1, 1989; Prior Code § 1-3.32.10) 2.28.030 Appointment: The members shall be appointed by the Mayor, as provided in the adopted City Council resolution establishing procedures for appointments to boards and commissions. A. Five (5) members and the alter- nate shall be appointed from the com- munity-at-large; B. Two (2) liaison members shall be appointed from other City commissions or boards as follows: 1. One member from the Park and Recreation Commission; and 2. One member from the Housing Commission. (Ord. 1768 § 1, 1999; Ord. 1674 § 2, 1996; Prior Code § 1-3.32.15) 2.28.040 Terms: A. The at-lazge members shall serve their terms consistent with the City Council resolution concerning term limits for commission members. B. The liaison members shall be nominated by their respective commis- sions for one year terms commencing in January of each yeaz. The terms of of- fice of the two (2) liaison members shall not extend beyond their terms on the commissions they represent. (Ord. 1674 § 2, 1996; Prior Code § 1-3.32.20) 2.28.050 Alternate Member: A. The alternate member shall vote in the case of an absence or conflict of interest of any public commissioner. B. The alternate member can serve as 27 (Pleasanton 5-99)
