7.28.010 <br />Chapter 7.28 <br />LICENSING AND <br />IMPOUNDING FEES <br />as set forth in the fees and chazges <br />resolution, which shall be added to the <br />license fee and collected with the li- <br />cense fee. (Ord. 1919 § 6, 2005; Prior <br />Code § 4-5.37) <br />7.28.020 Failure To Procure <br />License -Additional <br />Charge: <br />Any person who fails to procure <br />within forty five (45) days of the date <br />requiring such license shall, in addition <br />to any penalty prescribed by this chap- <br />ter, be subject to an additional chazge, <br />7.28.030 Exception -Service Dogs: <br />Any service dog owned and used by <br />a person with a disability shall be ex- <br />empt from a license fee as specified in <br />this chapter. As used in this section, a <br />"service dog" means any guide dog, <br />signal dog, or other dog trained to <br />provide assistance to a person with a <br />disability. (Ord. 1919 § 6, 2005; Prior <br />Code § 4-5.40) <br />7.28.040 Exception -Police Dogs: <br />Any dog owned by the county or city <br />and used by the sheriff or police de- <br />partment in the performance of the <br />function or duties of such department <br />shall be exempt from a license fee as <br />specified in this chapter. (Ord. 1919 <br />§ 6, 2005; Prior Code § 4-5.41) <br />7.28.050 Duplicate Tags: <br />The fee for replacement of a current <br />tag which has been lost or stolen shall <br />be as set forth in the fees and charges <br />resolution.
