18.08.255 <br />18.08.255 Illumination, Direct: <br />"Direct illumination" means illumina- <br />tion by means of light which travels di- <br />rectly from its source to the viewer's eye. <br />(Ord. 1743, 1998; Ord. 1738 § 1, 1998; <br />Prior Code § 2-5.21(g)) <br />18.08.260 Illumination, Indirect: <br />"Indirect illumination" means illumi- <br />nation by means only of light cast upon <br />an opaque surface from a concealed <br />source. (Ord. 1743, 1998; Ord. 1738 § 1, <br />1998; Prior Code § 2-5.21(h)) <br />18.08.265 Intersection, Street: <br />"Street intersection" means the azea <br />common to two (2) or more intersecting <br />streets. (Ord. 1743, 1998; Ord. 1738 § 1, <br />1998; Prior Code § 2-5.22(a)) <br />18.08.270 Junkyard: <br />"Junkyard" means a site or portion of a <br />site on which waste, discarded or sal- <br />vaged materials are bought, sold, ex- <br />changed, stored, baled, cleaned, packed, <br />disassembled, or handled, including used <br />furniture and household equipment yards, <br />house wrecking yazds, used lumberyards <br />and similaz uses; excepting a site on <br />which such uses are conducted within a <br />completely enclosed structure and except- <br />ing "motor vehicle wrecking yards", as <br />defined in this chapter. An establishment <br />for the sale, purchase or storage of used <br />cars or salvaged machinery in operable <br />condition and the processing of used or <br />salvaged materials as part of a manu- <br />facturing operation shall not be deemed a <br />junkyard. (Ord. 1743, 1998; Ord. 1738 <br />§ 1, 1998; Prior Code § 2-5.22(b)) <br />18.08.275 Kennel: <br />"Kennel" means any premises, except <br />where accessory to a permitted or con- <br />ditional agricultural use, where any com- <br />bination of dogs or cats totaling four (4) <br />or more animals four (4) months of age <br />or older are kept. Each dwelling unit <br />shall have a living room.
