15.28.060 <br />F. Any waters or wastes with a pH <br />lower than six (6) or higher than eleven <br />(11), or having any corrosive property <br />capable of causing damage or hazard to <br />structures, equipment and/or personnel; <br />G. Any waters or wastes exceeding the <br />following constituent concentrations, <br />unless a contract is entered with the city <br />providing payment for additional treat- <br />ment or plant expansion costs: <br />Constituent Limit, m>;/1 <br />BOD 400 <br />COD 1,500 <br />SS 400 <br />TDS 1,000 <br />H. Any waters or uses having a fluo- <br />ride concentration greater than five milli- <br />grams per liter (5 mg/1); <br />I. Wastes discharged into the sewerage <br />system from the regeneration of any water <br />softeners of any kind or description, <br />whether private or commercial; <br />J. Any sulfide forming pollutant or <br />waste which, when discharged to the <br />sewerage system, generates sulfide con- <br />centrations in excess of one milligram per <br />liter (1 mg/1); <br />K. Any wastewater with objectionable <br />color not removed in the treatment pro- <br />cess, such as, but not limited to, dye <br />wastes and vegetable tanning solutions; <br />L. Any noxious or malodorous liquids, <br />gases or solids which either singly or by <br />interaction with other wastes are sufficient <br />to create a public nuisance or hazard to <br />life or are sufficient to prevent entry into <br />the sewerage system for maintenance and <br />repair; <br />M. Any waters or wastes in excess of <br />the maximum volumes, flows and/or rates <br />of flow prescribed in the applicable per- <br />mits issued pursuant to this chapter; <br />N. In addition to the restrictions set <br />forth in this section, any pollutants, in- <br />cluding oxygen demanding pollutants <br />such as BOD and COD, discharged at a <br />flow rate and/or pollutant concentration <br />which a user knows, or has reason to <br />know, is likely to cause interference with <br />the treatment works.
