15.04.010 Chapter 15.04 GENERAL PROVISIONS Sections: 15.04.010 Purpose 15.04.020 Conflict With Uniform Codes 15.04.010 Purpose: The purpose of this title is to establish standazds and conditions, and to provide revenues, relating to the use and manage- ment of the sewerage system. It is further the purpose of this title to establish uni- fon;n requirements for discharges into the wastewater collection and treatment sys- tem used jointly with other public entities who are parties to the joint exercise of powers agreement establishing and pro- viding for the Livermore-Amador Valley water management agency, a public enti- ty, and any successor thereto. This chap- ter shall also serve as a vehicle enabling the city to comply with and meet applica- ble laws, regulations, standards and condi- tions established by federal and state law, or by agencies thereof in implementation of such law. The city council finds and declares that the health, safety and wel- fare of the people of the city require the enactment of the provisions of this chap- ter. (Ord. 1082 § 2, 1983; Prior Code § 2-15.10.01) 15.04.020 Conflict With Uniform Codes: In the event of any conflicts or incon- sistencies between the provisions of this title and the standards and regulations promulgated hereunder, and any provi- sions of the city adopted uniform plumb- ing code or other building or construction codes, the provisions of such uniform codes shall control.
