June 6, 1989 <br /> <br />Mr. James Walker, City Manager <br />City of Pleasanton <br />123 Main Street <br />Pleasanton, CA 94566 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Walker; <br /> <br /> We appreciate the opportunity to submit this proposal for the <br />independent MTC financial and compliance audits of the Bicycle <br />Facilities Program for the year ended June 30, 1989. <br /> <br /> Our examination will be made in accordance with generally <br />accepted auditing standards and accordingly will include such tests <br />of the accounting records and such other auditing procedures as we <br />consider necessary to render an opinion on the fairness of the <br />financial statements. <br /> <br /> Our examination is not primarily or specifically designed to <br />disclose defalcations or other irregularities should they exist. <br />We will, however, inform you or any findings that appear unusual <br />or abnormal. <br /> <br /> On completion of our examination, we agree to review our audit <br />draft with you and expect to issue the final report on or about <br />November 30, 1989. <br /> <br /> Our auditing services will be performed by professional <br />accounting staff. Report typing, reproducing and binding will be <br />performed by clerical persons in our office.
