CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-310 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH <br /> GIELOW AND DAVIS FOR 1988-89 FISCAL <br /> YEAR AUDIT CONTRACT. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, State and Federal regulations and bond covenants <br /> require that annual audits of the City's <br /> financial records be conducted by an independent <br /> auditor. <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, Gielow and Davis, CPA's, headquartered in <br /> Pleasanton, California, have previously <br /> performed such audits of the City's financial <br /> records. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council approves the agreements <br /> between the City of Pleasanton and Gielow and <br /> Davis regarding the audits for Fiscal Year 1988- <br /> 89. Copies of the proposals are attached hereto <br /> and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the City Manager to execute the <br /> above described agreements. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 18, 1989 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, <br /> and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None ~~ <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: KENNETH R.
