CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-303 <br /> <br /> REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO <br /> McREYNOLDS PAVING, FOR SLURRY SEALING OF <br /> VARIOUS CITY STREETS, PROJECT NO. <br /> 885019C <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and specifications for <br /> Slurry Sealing of Various City Streets, Project No. <br /> 885019C; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37900, et seq., <br /> the City Engineering Services Division advertised <br /> for bids regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on <br /> July 18, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of McReynolds Paving, in the amount of <br /> $49,725.00 was determined to be the lowest <br /> responsible bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br /> recommended that the bid of McReynolds Paving be <br /> accepted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of McReynolds Paving, in the amount of <br /> $49,725.00, for Slurry Sealing of Various City <br /> Streets, Project No. 885019C, is hereby accepted by <br /> the City Council as the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Manager is authorized to execute a <br /> contract with McReynolds Paving for the <br /> improvements specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
