CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-296 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING CONFIRMATION OF THE <br /> COST ACCOUNTING REPORT FOR 1989 WEED <br /> ABATEMENT PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an itemized written report showing the cost of <br /> nuisance abatement on a lot by lot basis throughout <br /> the City of Pleasanton for those lots upon or in <br /> front of which weeds existed and were not abated <br /> voluntarily by the owners thereof, was presented <br /> before the City Council at its meeting of July 18, <br /> 1989; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The costs of the abatement are deemed by law to <br /> constitute a special assessment against and a lien <br /> upon the parcel of property and shall be added by <br /> the Treasurer-Tax Collector to the next regular tax <br /> bill for each parcel as stated on the written <br /> report receive from the City of Pleasanton Fire <br /> Department. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 18, 1989 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />AT EST: KE~NNfTH R.
