New Items After 10:00 p.m. <br />Chairperson Arkin suggested that the Commission consider not starting new items after <br />10:00 p.m. and noted that City Council cancelled a number of meetings during the summer. <br />Ms. Decker noted that the Planning Commission had the prerogative to take a vote and adjust its <br />schedule accordingly. Regazding not starting new items after 10:00 p.m., she noted that many <br />large projects were being considered lately and added that the Commission has made an effort to <br />recognize the lateness of the hour with respect to these lazger projects. <br />Commissioner Blank noted that many people had worked hard on their items and did not believe <br />that canceling a meeting would reduce the amount of work. He suggested that the Commission <br />consider whether a meeting be concluded at 11:00 p.m. or shortly thereafter. <br />Ms. Harryman advised that the Commissioners' Handbook had a provision allowing the <br />Commission to decide how many more items would be considered and when the meeting would <br />be adjourned. <br />Conl?ested Intersections <br />Commissioner Fox noted that CalTrans stated that I-580 eastbound to I-680, east of El Charro <br />Road is the second worst gridlocked azea. <br />8.
