CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-278 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DENYING APPROVAL OF THE APPEAL <br /> OF JEANETTE WESTBROOK FOR A GENERAL PLAN <br /> AMRNDMENT AS FILED UNDER CASE GP-89-2 <br /> (CASE AP-89-5) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Jeanette Westbrook has applied to amend the Land <br /> Use Element designation of the General Plan from <br /> Low Density Residential to Medium Density <br /> Residential, for an approximately nine acre site <br /> located on the north side of Old Dublin Canyon Road <br /> generally in the area approximately 5,000 feet west <br /> of the intersection of Foothill Road and Old Dublin <br /> Canyon Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at a duly noticed public hearing on June 20, 1989, <br /> the City Council considered all public testimony, <br /> relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br /> Planning Commission concerning this application; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council concurs with the Planning <br /> Commission finding that the proposed amendment is <br /> premature as a study is being conducted of the area <br /> to determine the most appropriate land uses. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Denies approval of the appeal of Jeanette <br /> Westbrook of a decision of the Planning Commission <br /> denying Case GP-89-2, the application for a General <br /> Plan Amendment to redesignate nine acres of a 14- <br /> acre parcel located at 10890 Dublin Canyon Road <br /> from Low Density Residential to Medium Density <br /> Residential. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
