Apri126, 2006. <br />Commissioner Peazce requested that the sentence on paragraph 4 on page 9 be changed to <br />read as follows: "Commissioner Peazce suggested that equestrian trails be connected <br />with existing equestrian trails on the west side of Pleasanton pedest~-trails." <br />Former Commissioner Mary Roberts requested that the last sentence of the second <br />paragraph on page 1 be deleted as follows: " <br />>, <br />Commissioner Fox stated that she would like the minutes to show how each <br />Commissioner voted in the straw votes for Item S.a.. Consideration of the Draft Bernal <br />Combined Final Environmental Impact Report for Both Plans. She noted that she voted <br />"no" in most of them and would like to add the following comment: "Commissioner Fox <br />did not support adding additional amenities at this late stage of the planning process prior <br />to the approval of the EIR, and hence, voted No on most of the additions of amenities." <br />Chairperson Arkin agreed with Commissioner Fox's opinion that the voters should be <br />identified in the straw votes. <br />Commissioner Fox noted that with regazd to the swimming pool, the Commission <br />discussed whether it would be an indoor swimming pool for the potential Youth <br />r^ Community Center facility or a YMCA. <br />Chairperson Arkin believed it would be more appropriate to call it a Youth Center, Teen <br />Center, or Family Center. <br />Commissioner Fox believed the vote was whether to have a nonprofit group such as <br />YMCA added to the possibilities for the pool. <br />Chairperson Arkin requested that the audiotape be consulted to confirm what was said. <br />He added that the minutes would be re-examined at the end of the meeting to allow <br />Commissioner Fox time to read them through more thoroughly. <br />The minutes were approved as corrected <br />3.
