CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-276 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OFT HE <br /> JIINE 6, 1989 SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council ordered a Special Election to be <br /> held on June 6, 1989 for the purpose of determining <br /> whether City Ordinance No. 1398, an Ordinance of <br /> the City Council of the City of Pleasanton, <br /> California, Approving and Adopting the <br /> Redevelopment Plan for the Downtown Redevelopment <br /> Project, shall be adopted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Alameda County Registrar of Voters titled the <br /> proposed ballot measure as Measure C; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Alameda County Registrar of Voters has <br /> published the official canvas for the election with <br /> the following results: <br /> <br /> YES - 2,323 <br /> NO - 2,782 <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The results of the June 6, 1989, Special Election <br /> are declared as follows: <br /> <br /> Measure C <br /> <br /> YES - 2,323 <br /> NO - 2,782 <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
