Approved plans and specifications, reviewed bids, awarded and authorized the City <br />Manager to execute a contract with Vanguard Construction in the amount of $247,850 for <br />Annual Curb and Gutter Replacements, CIP No. 065009; authorized the transfer of <br />$11,900 from CIP #065005 (Annual SidewalWlntersection Ramp Installation) to Project <br />#065009 and the transfer of $7,500 from CIP #008039 to Project # 065009 for sidewalk <br />replacement on Old Bernal Avenue; and authorized the Director of Public Work to approve <br />and execute contract change order for a contingency amount not to exceed $49,550 if <br />necessary, for related project work <br />14. Approved plans and specifications, reviewed bids, awarded and authorized the City <br />Manager to execute a contract with California Pavement Maintenance Company in the <br />amount of $218,630, for Annual Slurry Sealing of Various City Streets, CIP No. 065004; <br />and authorized the transfer of $105,000 from CIP #065005 (Annual Sidewalk/Intersection <br />Ramp Installation) to Project #065004 <br />15. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute on-call consulting contracts for <br />surveying and drafting services with the firms of BKF Engineers and Kier & Wright, Civil <br />Engineers and Surveyors, Inc. in the total aggregate amount not-to-exceed $500,000 <br />between July 1, 2007 and June 20, 2010 <br />16. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute on-call consultant contracts for <br />geotechnical and material testing services with the firms of Construction Testing Services, <br />BSK Associates and ENGEO Incorporated in the total aggregate amount not-to-exceed <br />$450,000 between July 1, 2007 and June 20, 2010 <br />17.
