SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br /> The City of Pleasanton has requested a study to review and <br />make recommendations regarding improvements to its Integrated Land <br />Management (ILMS) and Geographic Information (GIS) Systems. The <br />stated needs are to identify and document existing ILMS and GIS <br />uses and functions, identify needs, problem areas and goals, make <br />recommendations regarding future development and management of the <br />programs, and to provide an implementation schedule to effectively <br />carry out the proposed recommendations. <br /> <br /> DATA COLLRCTION <br /> <br />Overview <br /> <br /> A study of tasks, procedures and goals of the Building, <br />Planning, Engineering (all divisions), Finance, Safety, Service, <br />and Administrative departments will be conducted on a department- <br />by-department basis. Through this phase, we will identify type and <br />amount of data being captured, the individuals responsible for <br />capturing and maintaining data, tasks performed, and procedures for <br />completion of these tasks. Redundant tasks, security procedures, <br />audit trails, data duplication and broken procedural links will be <br />identified here. Consultant will also identify and specify the <br />contents of the existing data bases, specify detail hardware <br /> <br /> <br />
