CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-274 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTIONAPPROVING PLANS AND <br /> SPECIFICATIONS FORT HE CONSTRUCTION OF <br /> TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT THE INTERSECTION OF <br /> VAT~Y AVENUE AND KOT~ STREET AND BERNAL <br /> AVENUE AND OLD BERNAL/CASE AVENUE, <br /> CIP 885025 AND 885030, AND AUTHORIZING <br /> CAT~.ING FOR BIDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities, by his <br /> report (SR 89:278), advised the City Council that <br /> plans and specifications had been completed for <br /> traffic signals at the intersection of Valley <br /> Avenue and Kolln Street and Bernal Avenue and Old <br /> Bernal/Case Avenue, CIP Nos. 885025 and 885030, and <br /> that said plans have been reviewed by staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 20, 1989, the City Council <br /> reviewed the report of the Director of Public Works <br /> and Utilities relating to the project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the plans and specifications for the <br /> traffic signals at the intersection of Valley <br /> Avenue and Kolln Street and Bernal Avenue and Old <br /> Bernal/Case Avenue, CIP Nos. 885025 and 885030. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the calling of bids for the above <br /> project pending State Notice to Proceed. <br /> <br />Section 3: Appropriates $236,000 from the City's General <br /> Fund which will be reimbursed to the maximum extent <br /> possible by Federal Aid Urban Funds. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
