ATTACHMENT 3 <br />CONTRACT <br />RESURFACING OF VARIOUS CITY STREETS <br />PROJECT N0.075003 <br />THIS CONTRACT is made and entered into this day of , 20 <br />by and between ("Contractor"), whose address is <br />and telephone number is and the CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation ("City"). <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, the City has awarded to the Contractor a contract for Resurfacing of <br />Various City Streets, Project No.075003. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises set forth herein, <br />the parties agree as follows: <br />1. Work to be Performed. <br />The work will consist of resurfacing approximately 1,060,000 square feet of <br />various City streets with either type B asphalt concrete or open graded asphalt <br />concrete overlay construction method. <br />The work shall also include base repair, grinding, adjusting appurtenances to <br />grade, installation of pavement markers, legends and striping, and traffic loops as <br />required in the contract documents. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, <br />materials, equipment, incidentals, transportation, traffic control and services <br />necessary to complete the work in accordance with these Project Plans and <br />Special Provisions. <br />Said work is more particularly shown in the following documents which are on <br />file with the Department of Public Works of the City and are incorporated herein <br />by this reference: <br />A. Plans and Specifications entitled the Resurfacing of Various City <br />Streets, Project No. 075003 and addenda thereto, if any. <br />B. Contract Change Orders approved by the City Engineer, done in <br />accordance with the Standard Specifications. <br />C. The proposal submitted to the City by the Contractor. <br />
