CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-257 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING JOYCE BERGER TO <br /> THE PLANNING COMMISSION, APPOINTING RON <br /> HORANAS A REGULAR MEMBER OF THE PLANNING <br /> COMMISSION, AND APPOINTINGHAROLDMCGUIRK <br /> AS AN ALTERNATE MEMBER OFT HE PLANNING <br /> COMMISSION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, due to the expiration of the term of Joyce Berger <br /> and the resignation of Brian Hoyt from the Planning <br /> Commission, two vacancies were open; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor has considered the names of various <br /> individuals who are interested in serving on the <br /> Planning Commission and evaluated their <br /> qualifications; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council confirms the reappointment of <br /> Joyce Berger for a four year term, which term <br /> expires on May 5, 1993, or until such time as she <br /> is replaced. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Council confirms moving Ron Horan from <br /> Alternate Member to Regular Member to fill the seat <br /> vacated by Brian Hoyt, which term expires on May 5, <br /> 1993, or until such time as he is replaced. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Council confirms the appointment of <br /> Harold McGuirk as an Alternate Member of the <br /> Planning Commission to fill the seat vacated by Ron <br /> Horan, which term to expires on May 5, 1990, or <br /> until such time as he is replaced. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
