CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 89-256 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR CASE PUD-89-6, THE APPLICATION OF SPIEKER PARTNERS WHEREAS, Spieker Partners has applied for Planned Unit Development rezoning and development plan approval for a multi-building, approximately 118,500 sq. ft. mixed use retail/commercial complex to be located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Rosewood Drive and Santa Rita Road; and; WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 6, 1989, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for PUD-89-6, PUD zoning and development plan approval for a multi- building, approximately 118,500 sq. ft. mixed use retail/commercial complex to be located on an approximately 13.3~acre site located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Rosewood Drive and Santa Rita Road; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated April 26, 1989 and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held June 6, 1989 at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state. and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposal would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for Case PUD-89-6, the application of Spieker Partners for Planned Unit Development rezoning and development plan approval for a multi-building, approximately 118,500 sq. ft. mixed use retail/commercial complex to be located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Rosewood Drive and Santa Rita Road.
