CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-256 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br /> CASE PUD-89-6, THE APPLICATION OF SPIEKER PARTNERS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Spieker Partners has applied for Planned Unit <br /> Development rezoning and development plan approval for a <br /> multi-building, approximately 118,500 sq. ft. mixed use <br /> retail/commercial complex to be located at the northwest <br /> corner of the intersection of Rosewood Drive and Santa <br /> Rita Road; and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 6, 1989, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for PUD-89-6, <br /> PUD zoning and development plan approval for a multi- <br /> building, approximately 118,500 sq. ft. mixed use <br /> retail/commercial complex to be located on an <br /> approximately 13.3~acre site located on the northwest <br /> corner of the intersection of Rosewood Drive and Santa <br /> Rita Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated April 26, 1989 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held June 6, 1989 at <br /> which time the public was given the opportunity to <br /> comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state. and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposal would not have <br /> any significant adverse effects on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for <br /> Case PUD-89-6, the application of Spieker Partners for <br /> Planned Unit Development rezoning and development plan <br /> approval for a multi-building, approximately 118,500 sq. <br /> ft. mixed use retail/commercial complex to be located at <br /> the northwest corner of the intersection of Rosewood <br /> Drive and Santa Rita Road. <br /> <br /> <br />
