CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-254 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION REFERRING CASE Z-89-142, <br /> APPLICATION OF SPIEKER PARTNERS FOR <br /> DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL OF PHASE II OF <br /> ROSE PAVILION SHOPPING CENTER, BACK TO <br /> T}IE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD FOR FURTHER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Spieker Partners has applied for design review <br /> approval to construct an additional 65,800 sq. ft. <br /> retail floor area (Phase II within the 15.96 acre <br /> Rose Pavilion Shopping Center) located in the <br /> northeast corner of the intersection of Rosewood <br /> Drive and Santa Rita Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 6, 1989 and <br /> testimony taken concerning the proposed project <br /> including its design, cumulative impact, <br /> consistency with the General Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council determined that the proposed structure <br /> needed further modification and design review for a <br /> new landscaping plan; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council refers Case Z-89-142, the <br /> application of Spieker Partners for design review <br /> approval to construct an additional 65,800 sq. ft. <br /> of retail floor area (Phase II within the 15.96 <br /> acre Rose Pavilion Shopping Center) located in the <br /> northeast corner of the intersection of Rosewood <br /> Drive and Santa Rita Road, back to the Design <br /> Review Board for a new landscaping plan and, if <br /> necessary, recommends reducing the size of the <br /> building to accommodate more trees. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
