CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-246 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> THE REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF <br /> CALIFORNIA/4H CLUB TO HOLD THE 4H CLUB <br /> "FUN RUN" ON JUNE 24, 1989 BEGINNING AT <br /> 8:30 A.M. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Regents of the University of California/4H Club <br /> has submitted a Parade Permit Request to hold the <br /> 4H Club "Fun Run" on June 24, 1989 beginning at <br /> 8:30 a.m.; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed this request and has established <br /> Conditions for Approval. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application to hold the 4H Club "Fun <br /> Run" on June 24, 1989. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Public Works Department will provide <br /> barricades, and the Police Department will provide <br /> street and parade monitoring along the parade <br /> route, as detailed in Staff Report 89:242. <br /> <br />Section 3: The applicant shall provide Proof of Insurance in <br /> a form approved by the City Attorney naming the <br /> City of Pleasanton as a co-insured in an amount <br /> equal to $500,000 for Personal Injury and $500,000 <br /> for Property Damage coverage. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 6, 1989 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None ~NNE~ MERCE~ <br />ATTEST: K <br /> <br />Jame~ q~ .d/Walker ~City Clerk <br />By Peggy L.
