CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-245 <br /> <br /> APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF THE <br /> AMADOR-LIVERMORE VAT,12Y EXCHANGE CLUB TO <br /> HOLD THE 1989 ALAMEDA COUNTY FAIR PARADE <br /> ON JUNE 24, 1989 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Amador-Livermore Valley Exchange Club has <br /> submitted an application requesting approval to <br /> hold the 1989 Alameda County Fair parade on <br /> June 24, 1989; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff has reviewed this request and established <br /> Conditions for ApproVal. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves the application of the Livermore-Amador <br /> Valley Exchange Club to hold the 1989 Alameda <br /> County Fair parade on June 24, 1989 at 11:00 a.m. <br /> <br /> Section 2: That the Public Works Director declare the <br /> streets on the parade route, from 10:00 a.m. to <br /> 3:00 p.m. as an "Unusual Condition" which will <br /> authorize emergency control parking signs to be <br /> posted, the closing of the streets, and the towing <br /> of vehicles in violation. <br /> <br /> Section 3: That all conditions, as detailed in City Staff <br /> Report 89:241, dated June 6, 1989, shall be <br /> complied with· <br /> <br /> Section 4: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 6, 1989 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None ../~~ <br />~~ KENNETH R.
