Application of California Hawaiian Mobile Estates to permit the construction of <br />166 mobile home units Located on the north side of Vineyard Avenue and due east <br />of the Overoack Mobile Home Park. <br />This item was referred to the Commission by the City Manager requesting that the <br />Commission review it and advise him and the Council as to whether or not the <br />property should be annexed to the Citq and whether or not the City should <br />encourage an additional mobile home park for that immediate area. <br />There was considerable discussion between Mr. Jim Stacy, President of California <br />Hawaiian Mobile Estates, several other gentlemen in the audience, and the <br />Commissioners. The conclusion reached by the Commissioners from the material <br />submitted and the discussion was that upon motion of Commissioner Gibbs, seconded <br />by Commissioner Antonini, and carried, with the exception of Commissioner Pons <br />who voiced the only negative vote, the Commission voted to advise the City <br />Manager and City Council that the property should be annexed to the City and <br />that said 21 acres would be ideal for the proposed 166-space mobile home park. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS - PUBLIC HEARINGS. <br />a. RZ-69-11, Harrv Shackelton <br />Application to rezone from the A (Agricultural) District to the R-1-20,000 <br />(Single Family) District that property described as Parcel 4, Block 4045, <br />Assessor's Map Book 946, containing 3.44 acres, more or less, and located on <br />the west aide of Foothill Road, south of Bernal Avenue and north of Castlewood <br />Drive. <br />Chairman Garrigan opened the Public Hearing. The Planning Director advised that <br />there were no problems involved in this application and the rezoning to the <br />Single Family District was recommended. <br />Mr. Ted Fairfield, the engineer on this application, also advised the Commission <br />that he had no additional comments to slake. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Gibbs, seconded by Commissioner Pons, and carried, <br />the Public Hearing was closed. <br />Upon motion of Coffiisaioner Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Pons, and carried, <br />the following resolution was adopted unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 923 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton recommending to the Citq Council <br />the granting of Zone Amendment RZ-69-11, filed by <br />Harry Shackelton. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />has considered Zone Amendment Petition RZ-69-11, <br />filed by Harry Shackelton, to amend Zoning Ordinance <br />No. 520 by rezoning from the A (Agricultural) <br />District to the R-1-20,000 (Single Family) District <br />that property described as: <br />Parcel 4, Block 4050 <br />Assessor's Map Book 946, <br />containing 3.44 acres, <br />more or less, <br />or more commonly known as located on the west side <br />of Foothill Road, south of Bernal Avenue and north <br />of Castlewood Drive. <br />- 5 - <br />
