e .. - ,r-. .-., <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Pons, seconded by Commissioner Pereira, and carried, <br />the Public Hearing was closed. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Pons, seconded by Chairman Garrigan, the following <br />resolution was offered: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 946 <br />WHEREAS, the application of James R. and Lucy T. Bell to <br />allow the operation of a Day Care Center for a <br />maximum of five (5) children in their home <br />located at 1781 Orchard Way, in a single-family <br />residential district, has come before this Commission, <br />NCW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that vP-69-19 is hereby approved <br />subject to the following conditions, <br />1. The use of facilities be limited to a maximum of five (5) <br />pre-school age children of either sex at any time. <br />2. The dsy-care period shall be restricted to the hours between <br />7:30 AM through 6:30 PM. <br />3. That the permit be subject to renewal each year thereafter from the <br />date of approval, <br />4. That this permit applies to the applicant and not the property. <br />5. That there shall be no advertising of said operation on the property. <br />6. That there shall be no exterior changes to said property. <br />7. That the applicant shall adhere to all requirements of Sec.19.100 of <br />Article 19 of Zoning Ordinance No. 520. <br />8. That said premises be inspected by the Fire Department of the City <br />of Pleasanton. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 10th day of September, 1969, by <br />the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Antonini, Pereira, <br /> Pons,Chairamn Garrigan <br />Noes: Commissioner Gibbs <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: Secretary Castro <br />f. Falender Homes - Landscaping along Foothill Road <br />Review of landscaping for area along Foothill Road. <br />There were no objections regarding the materials utilized for the fences. <br />However, there was considerable discussion regarding the right-of-way along <br />Foothill Road, for a hiking and bicycle trail. It was the Commissioners' <br />thoughts that perhaps the developer would be willing to put in the asphalt <br />walkways at this time, thereby eliminating the necessity of the City taking care <br />of the matter at some future date. <br />The staff was instructed to contact the developer and request his cooperation <br />regarding this item. <br />8. COMMUNICATIONS. <br />a. Letter from MacKay & Somps, requesting time extension for Tract 2892, Longview. <br />There were no problems and upon motion of Chairman Garrigan, seconded by <br />Commissioner Pons, and carried, the following resolution was adopted unanimously. <br />-5- <br />
