CITY COUNCIL CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-226 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br /> CASE PUD-88-17, THE APPLICATION OF COUNTRY INVESTORS AND <br /> GEORGE WARD FOR DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Country Investors and George Ward have applied for <br /> development plan approval to construct a 23 parcel, <br /> single-family residential project to be located on an <br /> approximately 6.7 acre site located at 2667 Vineyard <br /> Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development) - Medium density Residential District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 16, 1989, the City Council <br /> received and reviewed the Initial Study dated <br /> December 29, 1988 and received the recommendations of <br /> the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposal would not have <br /> any significant adverse effects on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for Case PUD-88-17, <br /> the application of Country Investors and George Ward for <br /> development plan approval to construct a 23 parcel, <br /> single-family residential project to be located on an <br /> approximately 6.7 acre site located at 2667 Vineyard <br /> Avenue. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
