,~ <br /> <br />IN THE PLAND?ING COhIMI33I0N OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, STATE OF <br />CALIFORNIA <br />Di I N U T E 4y, i <br />A regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton was held at 8200 P. M. Thursday, July 2I, <br />1955. Commissioners Hewitson and Hanifen were absent, <br />Minutes of the last meeting were approved. <br />Charles Pestana, City Engineer, discussed a recent <br />survey made for aid in planning sewer expansion for the City of <br />Pleasanton, and the related problems of coordinated sewer and <br />water facilities in growing communities. <br />The following communications were read, and actions <br />takent <br />C. J. Ritenour request for use permit to move existing <br />buildings: Recommended on motion of Hrenner, seconded by Han <br />George E, Engelhardt request for variance of residential) <br />setback for auxiliary building; Hearing set for August 18, <br />1955. and commissioners to survey site. <br />City Council regarding closing Abbie Street crossings <br />Recommend to City Council that Abbie Street crossing be kept <br />open, on motion of Garibaldi seconded by Brenner. <br />City Council re Budget: Commissioners Brenner, Hansen <br />and Garibaldi appointed as a committee to make recommendation <br />of budget needs, <br />Discussion concerning Assembly Bill 2166, or Section <br />35009 of the Government Code, concerning annexation of <br />„areas zoned exclusively for agricultural purposesN, followed. <br />Secretary was instructed to obtain, if possible, a written <br />opinion of the views of the County officials concerning the <br />application of this new law. <br />-1- <br />
