CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-224 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE <br /> DECLARATION FOR ANAMENDMENT TO THE <br /> CIRCULATION ET.RMENT OF THE GENERA/~ PLAN <br /> BY REALIGNING VINEYARD AVENUE AT ITS <br /> INTERSECTION WITH CLARA LANE TO A <br /> STRAIGHTER CONFIGURATION (GP-89-1) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 16, 1989, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for <br /> the application of the City of Pleasanton to amend <br /> the Circulation Element of the General Plan by <br /> realigning Vineyard Avenue at its intersection with <br /> Clara Lane to a straighter configuration (GP-89-1); <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the <br /> Initial Study dated December 29, 1988 and received <br /> the recommendations of the staff and Planning <br /> Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br /> time the public was given the opportunity to <br /> comment on the environmental impacts of the <br /> proposed General Plan amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential <br /> impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br /> local guidelines governing the preparation of <br /> Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact <br /> Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed <br /> General Plan amendment would not have any <br /> significant adverse effects on the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for <br /> the application of the City of Pleasanton to amend <br /> the Circulation Element of the General Plan by <br /> realigning Vineyard Avenue at its intersection with <br /> Clara Lane to a straighter configuration <br /> (GP-89-1). <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
