IN THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMBDA, STATE OF CALIFORiVIA <br />M I N U T E S <br />A regular adjourned meeting of the Planning Commission was held <br />Thursday, March 1, 1956 at 8:00 P.M. at the City Hall, with Vice Chairman <br />Brenner presidit4g. ROLL CALL showed present: Commissioners Garibaldi, <br />Hanifen and Nevis. Commisaion~ansen arrived at 8:10 P.M. Absent: <br />Commissioners Hewitson and Orloff. Mayor Trimingham and Councilwoman <br />Hector of the Council were present. Minutes of February 16th meeting <br />were approved. <br />Public Hearing on Mr. Peter Madsen~s request for variance for side <br />yard setbacks and Use Permit to move existing building was held. Mr. <br />Madsen explained his plans to the Commission. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Koop- <br />mane, Mr. and Mrs. R. DeMfiyer were present, all protesting Mr. Madsen~s <br />plans due to the fact that his lot area did not contain 5,000 square <br />feet as required in Ordinance No. 241. The matter xas tabled for further <br />study by the Commission. <br />Communication from the California Roadside Council on Freexays <br />and Billboards was read and ordered filed. <br />Commissioner Nevis reported on Flood Control and Water Conservation <br />Committee meeting held in Livermore last evening. He stated a meeting <br />is to be held in Pleasanton, tentatively set for March 30th. The Secretary <br />was instructed to advise the Commissioners of the exact date. <br />Mayor Trimingham presented a proposed tentative xater policy for <br />Alameda County. No action taken in the absence of Chairman Orloff. Sec- <br />retary was instructed to forward the proposed policy to Chairman Orloff. <br />City Administrator.-A1 Oasen reported Mr. Thiessen had moved a <br />grease rack to his property on Railroad Avenue xithout a permit. Sec- <br />retary was instructed to write Mr. Thiessen regarding the matter.
