ACTION ON COMMUNICATIONS; Chairman Hansen will contact Mr. Thomas, Planning Director of the County Planning Commission, for further information on the work sessions to discuss the Preliminary Master Plan Report for Alameda County. Com- missioners set May 28th as a tentative date for the work session. On motion of Commissioner Collier, seconded by Commissioner Hanifen, and approved by all Commissioners .pre sent, recommendation to be sent to the Council that other areas be included in the County Planning Commis- sion s recreation plan, namely, Water Temple area, water company property from Verona to Sunol and the abandoned gravel pit area. On motion of Commissioner Hewitson, seconded by Commissioner Nevis, and approved by all Commissioners present, Secretary was instructed to direct a letter to Mr. Fdg:r Kaiser for information on the survey made by Stanford Research Division concerning the development of recreational activities in the abandoned gravel pit area. Commissioner Nevis stated Assemblyman Carlos See had spoken at the Lions Club meeting of the State furnishing planning consultants to cities under 25,000 without cost. Hecretary was asked to check with the League of California Cities on the matter. J Commissioner Nevis sugges~the Commission meet twice a month and also to try and get better cooperation from the Council. Councilman Trimingham, who was present, suggested the Commission check on the present Trailer Ordinance and revise if necessary. Mrs. Collier xas asked to make a survey of the trailers in Town to determine how many are hooked up to sewer and water lines, etc. She will report at the next meeting. Commissioner Hansen expressed his appreciation for being elected Chairman.
