' <br />Roll Calls Proaeat: - Comsiasionera Abrott, Hanifen, Trowbridge, Hewitson, <br />Garton and Cevmissioner Yetherby arrived alt 8x06. <br />the urinates of February 21st wero approved as forwarded on a motion by <br />Cc®aissioner Abrott, seconded by Coadasioner Hsnifen. <br />Cornspondence: A letter from Mr. Leslie Robertson was read requesting that <br />a continuance be granted for owe swath on the hearing to cow <br />eider a proposed variance to re-zone south of 'ernal Avenue <br />between Western Pacific railroad and ?fain Street. On order <br />of the Chairman a new date and new publication will be set <br />on roquest of the applicant. <br />A letter from Mr. Amaral, Secrotary of the Pleasanton Chamber <br />of Commerce requesting that the Hoard consider and formulate <br />a plan to propose as ordinance controlling the amount of al- <br />terations a~ ropairs to old eoasereial buildings ras road. <br />Old Business; Cornspondence from the County Planing Comiasion concerning <br />tentative map tract 1873 was road. the design considerations <br />and rocommes~lationa on the staff analysis submitted by the <br />Cosiasion was road. and rodewed. A letter from the Pacific <br />Gas and Electric Co. stating that they have no facilities that <br />weld interfero with the development of tract 1873 was also <br />road. Further cornspondence from the Alameda County Health <br />Department stating that they had no comnenta pertaining to the <br />tentative map of the subdivision as the tract was being served <br />by public water and sewers was read. <br />Ifr. Bay Mnrplp, ropresentiag Leonardo Bros., thaan presented a <br />rovised neater plan of the proposed subdivision. He reviewed <br />the new plan and pointed out that wheroas the original map in- <br />dicated very poor circulation the sew layout el~*~~*+nted this <br />difficulty. He than explained to the Commission the various <br />changes on this map and stated that for financial roasona Leo- <br />nardo Bros. desired to proceed with the development at a slower <br />pace than originally thought and hence mould begin building oa <br />the flat land. He indicated on the new map the proposed school <br />site which would eacompaaa 10-11 acros and have one principal <br />building. Further discussion followed on the problem of locat- <br />ing the school and Mr. Murphy suggested that perhaps part of <br />the grounds mould be located on their property asd the other <br />part on adjoining las-d. Mr. Hewitson however stated that it <br />mast definitely be built on Leonardo Broa• land. Ia this <br />Mr. Isuplp than concurred. Further discussion than ensaed on <br />sewage disposal and as me~ioned by Mr. Wharton certain drainage <br />problems. Mr. Peatsna spoke of minianv curb grades to be <br />rognired.
