CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-221 <br /> <br /> APPROVAL OF PURCHASE OF ONE 10-PASSENGER <br /> RETROFITTED VAN WITH MEASURE B FUNDING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton operates a paratransit <br /> program with three vans and two sedans, one van <br /> being six years old and in need of being assigned <br /> as a relief vehicle only; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Transportation Development Act (TDA) has <br /> allocated $35,000 to the City of Pleasanton for the <br /> purchase of one 9-passenger retrofitted van; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the TDA funds for the local Transportation Fund of <br /> Alameda County are required to be expended by <br /> May 31, 1989 by Lease Option Contract; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: That all the appropriate plans and specifications <br /> for the purchase of one 9-passenger van are <br /> executed for bid to be completed by May 25, 1989. <br /> <br />Section 2: That the City Manager is authorized to enter into <br /> a Lease Option Purchase Agreement for the purchase <br /> of one 9-passenger retrofitted van. <br /> <br />Section 3: That the City Manager is authorized to execute <br /> all the appropriate documents to purchase one <br /> 9-passenger retrofitted van subject to the <br /> limitations of $35,000. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
