The proposed Interim urclinance public hearing ~.raa than held. amity lttorney <br />Struthers presented his views on certain chanties a.xl deletions that he felt <br />were necessary in the proposed ordinance. 3i11 Fagg, of ;?arold 14ise Assoc- <br />iates, was present to state his opinion on these and other changes. .After <br />considerable discussion it was decided on motion by Commissioner ?etherby, <br />seconded by Cormnissiouer Trowbridge, and passed unanimously, to approve the <br />Lrterim Ordinance as submitted by Harold 1~/ise .Associates, with changes as <br />noted, anct recommend immediate adoption by the City Council. The changes <br />as noted were; <br />1) The statement of fee in :Article 2, Section 2.12 of $50.00 plus $5.00 <br />in the event that a public heari~ is deemed advisable by the Plann- <br />ing Convnission and that portion exceeding actual cost shall be refund <br />-able. <br />2) The change in Subsection 2.15, of Section 2.01 of 4rticle 2, from <br />thirty (30) days to seventeen (17) days. <br />3) The deletion of the postcard notice of Subsection 2.16 - now to read <br />"post notice". <br />4) The addition to Section 2.17 of "the Commission shall issue a Condit- <br />ional Zoning Permit with fifteen (15) days if no public hearing is <br />necessary or thirty one (31) days if a public hearing is held. <br />5) The deletion in Subsection 3.14 of Article 3, Section 3.01 of the <br />phrase "by mailing of a postcard notice tc the owners of subject pro- <br />perty" and the addition of the phrase "by posting". <br />6) The complete deletion of Subsection 3.5 of the same article and section. <br />?) The deletion of the phrase "pertaining to the erection, construction, <br />reconstruction, moving, conversion, alteration, or addition to any <br />buil3ing or structure" in Section 4.1 of article 4. <br />Mayor Cairo advised that Commissioners `.dharton and Hartle, whose tern, expired <br />this date had been reappointed by the Council for a period of three years, <br />commencing I•fay 9, 1957. <br />Chairman Hewitson stated that Superintendent of Schools Mr. Don Eddie desired <br />a meeting 66th the Recreation Committee of the Commission for farther discuss- <br />ion of proposed park sites. Corenissioner S~harton stated that he ~aoul.d contact <br />him. <br />Ther¢ being no further business to come before the Commission the meeting was <br />adjourned at 10;40 P.
