Hominationa for feting Ghair- <br />maa rare opened. ~ nation of Conmiasioner Wharton, seconded by Coviasioner <br />Oa;sea Ceauissioner Bietherby was nnanimonslT elected. <br />Roll Calls Presents Caaissioners Hanifen, Ouuen, Yetherby and Wharton. <br />Abssats Cesasissioasrs Abrott, Hartle and Trowbridge. <br />The minutes of August 15, 1957 rare approved as forwarded on motion of Cosmissioner <br />Hanifea, aecoaded by Coaaissiomr Iretherby. <br />The City Council Reaolntion No. 2678, appoiming Albert ii. Ozsen as a member of the <br />City Planniug Go~ission to 'serve until M47 9, 1958, the unexpired term of Louis R. <br />Neritssa ran read. Co~aiaaioaer Yhartoa, oa behalf of the Cas•ission, welcomed <br />Mr. Omen. <br />The request of Mre. Frank Vallarino of 248 {vineyard Avem~e, fora Conditional Zon- <br />ing Peradt rhich had Ysea postponed frog the previous meeting rae heard. Mr. Joe <br />~allariao presented hie aatherra plans for a ner here to be built oa the property. <br />Be stated that the old house in rhich his tether vas nor living rould be need as a <br />storage shad after the completion of the proposed nsr home, After some diacasaion <br />the Coa•issionera decided that ao public hewing vas neoeasary. On nation o! Con <br />missioner Oxssa, seconded by Cemaisaioner Aanifen Resolution X11, granting the Con- <br />ditional Zoning Permit, vas peened on the folloring eonditioass 1) That the old <br />building (~ ss indicated on the rap submitted by the applicant) not be reined or <br />leased after completion of the ner construction; 2) That construction be as outlined <br />in Applicantts Map of August 28, 1957; 3) That the sanitary facilities serving Build- <br />ing 1 be disconnected and rill serve only the ner Building C. <br />yr. (~arles Florio of 31 Roae Arem~e ran present to present his application for a <br />itioaal Zoning Permit to ertct a ner four roes house on that property. He ex~ <br />plained hie plena as presented to the Commission. The Cmaaissioners felt that no <br />public hearing ran necessary. On motion of Cesniasionor Wharton, aeeoaded by Cam- <br />adasioner lietherby, Resolntioa X12 granting the permit, under the following Condit-. <br />ions ryas passed nnanimonaly. 1) 'lhst the building aw,et all specifications of tlu <br />Uniform Building Code na adopted by the City of Pleasanton; 2) That the setback <br />confots to other structures on the block; 3) That the side yards He of a 5* miniaim. <br />Mr. Bill Rugg, planning Coasnltamt, vas present to present the District Land Use Zon- <br />ing map for the approval of the Commission. He stated that the only changes vould <br />involve • minimum setback of 25~ is RL zones= 20t in RH zones adequate for parking; <br />and that column seven rould read minimum psroel size rather than lot size. Mr. Rugg <br />vas authorised to proceed with the reproduction of the amp. Ae also presented the <br />beginning of the ner city map. <br />There bei~a no further basiness to come before the Comrisaion the meeting vas ad- <br />~ourned at 9x35 P.M. to meet again on September 12, 1957 at 8 P.M. at the City Hall. <br />- , <br />Secretary f~ ~ <br />
