PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />MINUTES <br />The meeting of the City Planning Commission was called to order at the City Hall <br />oa October 24, 1957 at 8:00 P.M.a Eb~tin6 Cha~*+~ ~ Wetherby presiding. <br />Roll Call; Present; Commissioners DeVor~ Hartle, Trowbridge Wharton and <br />Wetherby <br />Absent: Commissioner Hanifen <br />On order of Acting Chairman Wetherby the minutes of October 10th were amended to <br />read: RL 7.5 and RL-6~.S Minimum Floor Area Ratio will be altered to read 1;5.5 . <br />rather than 1:5 and changing of the 1-4 ratio of dwellings to parking spaces in <br />the RL~6 district to 1-2 was discussed. On motion of Commissioner Trowbridge, <br />seconded by Commisaiioner Wetherby the minutes were approved as amended. <br />Correspondence; The resignation of Commissioner Al Oxsen, submitted to and acdept- <br />ed by the City Council at their regular meeting of October 14, 1957, was read. <br />Relative to the request of Mrs. Frank Vallarino for a change is the Conditional <br />Zoning Permit granted to her the Commission was advised that the property was now <br />under option to buy. <br />Mr. Frank Avilla~ Dlrilding Contractor, requested the Commissions advice as to how <br />he should proceed in securing a building permit to erect a garage on Wm.Thiessenrs <br />property at Railroad Avenue which would have to be built on the property line. <br />Acting Chairman Wetherby explained that this would necessitate the contractor apply- <br />ing for a Variance Permit. Mr. Avilla stated he would submit the required drawings, <br />etc. to the Secretary and request a hearing before the Planning Commission. <br />B;i].1 Rugg, Planning Consultant, detailed the procedure in adopting the General Zorn <br />ing Plan and outlined the steps in the planning program to follow. Acting Chairman <br />Wetherby suggested that the meeting be ad3ourned to a work session to further dis- <br />cuss the proposed Zoning Ordinance. <br />There being no further business to come before the Commission the meeting was ad- <br />3ourned at 8:40 P.M. to meet again on Hovefmber 21st, at BP.M. a6 the City Hall. <br />_ ~~~ <br />Secretary <br />
