IN THE PL4NNING COMMISSION OF THE C~TY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />MIN[7`i'ES <br />Meeting of June 5, 1958 <br />The meeting of the City Planning Commission was called to order at City Hall <br />on June 5, 1858, Chairman Wetherby presiding. <br />Roll Call: Present - Commissioners Hanifen, Lozano,Trawbridge and Wharton. <br />Absent -Commissioners DeVor and Mitchell. <br />On motion of Commissioner Wharton, seconded by Conffiissioner Lo'~am and <br />approved by all Commissioners present, the minutes of the meeting of May 15, <br />1958 were approved as forwarded. <br />Chairman Wetherby opened the public hearingon the application of Charles Fiorio <br />Por a four foot variance to construct a carport on property located at 54 Rose <br />Avenue. On motion of Commissioner Wharton, seconded by Commissioner Hanifen, <br />and approved by all Corrmmissioners present, Resolution No. 28 was adopted, <br />recommending to the City Council the granting of this variance under the following <br />conditions: <br />a) That the north and east walls be of one hour fire <br />resistant construction. <br />b) That the romY overhang on the north and east sides <br />is not to exbead more than six ,inches beyond the <br />building line. <br />c) That no run-off be allowed onto neighbors' property. <br />On motion of Commissioner Wharton, seconded by Commissioner Hanifen and approved <br />by all Commissioners present, Chairman Wetherby was authorized to sign a letter <br />to the Board of supervisors from the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce in regard to <br />the County's proposed future plans for Parks Air Force Base. <br />As there was no fluther business to come before the Commission, the meeting was <br />adjourned at 8:45 p.m. to meet again in regular adjourned session on Thursday, <br />June 19, 1958 at 8:00 p.m. <br />n ~ , •. <br />Secretary <br />
