<br />Meeting of January 8, 1959
<br />The meeting of the Pleasanton Planning Commission was called to order at City Hall
<br />on January 8, 1959, Vice-Chairman Hanifen presiding.
<br />Roll Ca11: Present - Commissioners DeVor, Lozano and Mitchell
<br />Absent -Commissioners Allison, 4lharton and Wetherby
<br />On motion of Commissioner Lozano, seconded by Conmmissioner Mitchell and approved by
<br />all Commissioners present, the minutes of the meeting of December 18, 1958 were
<br />approved as submitted.
<br />Tentative Neap Tract 2007, M.G.C., was considered by the Commission. Mr. T. McManus of
<br />M.G.C. was present to explain the map as submitted. Correspondence from the P.G.&E,
<br />County Health Department and Flood Control District on Tract 2007 was presented. On
<br />motion of Commissioner DeVor, seconded by Commissioner Mitchell and approved by all
<br />Commissioners present, RESOLUTION N0. 47, was adopted, stating that a public hearing
<br />is not deemed necessary; that the conditions of the pertinent sections of Ordinance
<br />ido. 276 have been met; and, that Tentative Map Tract 2007 is approved subject to the
<br />City Engineers' Conditions of Approval, Tract 2007, as set out in Exhibit "Il".
<br />'tentative Plop Tract 2004, Pleasanton Development Corporation, was considered. Mr. Roy
<br />Jensen was present to explain the map as submitted. Correspondence from the P.G.&E.,
<br />County Health Department, Flood Control District and the Pleasanton School District
<br />on Tract 2004 was presented. Dr. Ray Haskell, local Superintendent of Schools, was
<br />present and stated that the School felt that AIr. Jensen should provide an access from
<br />Jensen Street to Alisal School for the benefit of the school children. On motion of
<br />Commissioner Mitchell, seconded by Commissioner Lozano and approved by all Commissioners
<br />present, RESOLUTIONi N0. IF8 was adopted, stating that a public heax'ing is not deemed
<br />necessary; that the conditions of the pertinent sections of Ordinance Pdo. 276 have been
<br />met; and that Tentative Map Tract 2004 be approved subject to the City Engineers' Con-
<br />ditions of Approval, as set out in Exhibit "B"; and that the subdivider shall deed to
<br />the Pleasanton Elementary School District a 10' easement on the west boundary of Lot
<br />ISo. g to provide access to the school and subdivider shall improve same.

<br />seconded by Commissioner Lozano and approved by all Commissioners present, RESOLUTIONd
<br />ido. 49, was adopted, stating that a public hearing is not deemed necessary on Tract
<br />2005; that the conditions of the pertinent sections of Ordinance IIo. 276 have been met;
<br />and that Tentative Map Tract 2005, Pleasanton Development Corporation, is approved
<br />subject to the Ci'ay Engineers' Conditions of Approval, Tract 2005, as set out in
<br />Exhibit °B". On motion of Com-nissioner Mitchell, seconded by Commissioner Lozano and
<br />approved by all Commissioners present, RESOLUTION IIO. 50 was adopted, stating that a
<br />public hearing is not deemed necessary on Tract 2006; that the conditions of the
<br />pertinent sections of Ordinance Ido. 276 have been met; and that Tentative Slap Tract
<br />2006 is approved subject to the City Engineers' Conditions of Approval, 't'ract 2006
<br />as set out in E.;hibit "B".
<br />The application of Dluclear Engineering Company, 2600 Main Street, 4lalnut Creels. for a
<br />Conditional Zoning Permit to erect an office, warehouse and laundry facility at 58 Ray
<br />Street was considered. On motion of Commissioner DeVor, seconded by Commissioner Mitchell
<br />and approved by all Commissioners present, RESOLUTIOi: ido. 51 was adopted, stating that
<br />a. public hearing is not deemed necessary in the public interest in this matter, that
<br />the conditions of the pertinent sections of Ordinance No. 276 have been met and that
<br />the Conditional Zoning Permit is granted per the s]~etch a,nd floor plans as submitted and
<br />subject to the following conditions: (1) 3uilding shall comply with building code; (2)
<br />Company shall comply with Federal and State regulations governing liquid and gas
<br />effluent; 13) Copies of State and F-ederal, including Atomic Energy Commission inspection
<br />reports shal]_ be submitted to the City; (It) a 10' sewer easement along the westerly
<br />boundary from IYay Street to the Arroyo del Va11e shall be dedicated to the City; (5) a
<br />8" sewer line shall be connected to the existing City seFrer line along that easement; and
<br />(61 a 4" lateral shall be installed from the proposed building to the 8" sewer line.
