CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-215 <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 <br />(ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR <br />CITY STREETS) BY AMENDING SECTION 3 TO <br />ESTABLISH A FOUR WAY STOP AT PASEO SANTA <br />CRUZ AND VIA DE LOS CERROS/PASEO SAN <br />LEON <br />WHEREAS, on April 12, 1976, the City Council adopted <br />Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing <br />Traffic Regulations for City Streets); and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended <br />Resolution No. 76-79; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 16, 1989, the City Council <br />received and discussed a report (SR 89:212) from <br />the Director of Public Works and Utilities related <br />to establishing a four way stop at the intersection <br />of Paseo Santa Cruz and Via de los Cerros/Paseo San <br />Leon; and <br />WHEREAS, it was determined to be necessary to amend <br />Resolution No. 76-79 to add subsections 3p-9, <br />3p-10, and 3v-7 to Section 3 (Stop Intersections); <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing <br />Traffic Regulations for City Streets) is hereby <br />amended by adding the following subsections to <br />Section 3 (Stop Intersections): <br />3p-9 Paseo Santa Cruz, at Via de los Cerros/Paseo <br />San Leon; stopping traffic on Paseo Santa Cruz <br />in both directions. <br />3p-10 Paseo San Leon, at Paseo Santa Cruz; <br />stopping traffic on Paseo San Leon. <br />3v-7 Via de los Cerros, at Paseo Santa Cruz; <br />stopping traffic on Via de los Cerros. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br />immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />
