JF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA - STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />Minutes <br />July 16 - 23 - 28, 1959 <br />Due to lack oP quorum at 8:00 P.M. on the above dates, the Secretary oY the Planning Com- <br />mission set the date oP the next regular meeting of the Planning Commission to be held at <br />8 P.M. on Thursday, August 6, 1959• <br />Secretary <br />IN THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASAN'PON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA - STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />Minutes <br />August 6, 1959 <br />The meeting oP the Pleasanton Planning Commission area called to order at the City Hall on <br />August 6, 1959 at 8 p.m. with Commissioner De Vor presiding. <br />Roll Call: Present - Commissioners Allison, De Vor, Landon, and Mitchell <br />Absent - Commissioners Hanifen, Lozano and Wetherby <br />On motion of Commissioner Landon, seconded by Commissioner Mitchell, and approved by all <br />Ccaomissioaers present the minutes of July 16, 23 and 28, 1959 were approved sa read. <br />Oa motion oY Commissioner De Vor, seconded by Commissioner Allison, and approved by ell <br />Commissioners present the minutes oY July 2, 1959 were approved as read. <br />RffiOLUTION N0. 63 granting the Conditional Zoning Permit to Mario Oliva oY 3781 Castro <br />Valley Blvd., Castro Valley, California to operate s Merchants Patrol Service in the City <br />of Pleasanton with office at 612 Main Street, Pleasanton, California with the coadttion that <br />it be used Yor office purposes only and no permanent housekeeping facilities be net up, was <br />adopted oa motion oY Commissioner Mitchell, seconded by Commissioner Lyndon and approved by <br />all Commissioners present. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 64 granting the Conditional Zoning Permit to Mr. Orlando Meai Ketti, Meni- <br />Ketti Music Company, of 1517 Clay Street, Oakland, California, to operate Music Instruction <br />at Women's Club, Vineyard & Regalia, Pleasanton, California, was adopted on motion oY Com- <br />missioner Lyndon, seconded by Commissioner Allison and approved by all commissioners present. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 65 granting the Conditional Zoning Permit to Art Hilliker, Rt. 1 Box 504, <br />Pleasanton, on behalf of Robert Pove]1, to construct s 30 unit Motel with a 40' X 20' swim- <br />ming pool on the Pleasanton Hotel property was adopted oa motion of Commissioner Mitchell, <br />seconded by Commissioner Lyndon and approved by ell commissioners present with the follow- <br />ing conditions: <br />s. That the Motel sad swimming pool meet the general outline of the Plot Plea. <br />b. That a mtnlmy+~.; oY 180 sq. Pt. be allotted t0 each unit apace. <br />c. That a minimum of 67 off-street parking spaces be provided. <br />d. That the use of the pool be restricted to Motel and Hotel guests. <br />Landscaping Approval procedures were reviewed, approved and recasmmended that they be For- <br />warded to the City Council Yor their approval, on motion of Commissioner Mitchell,secoaded <br />by Cosmmisaioner Landon and approved by all Commissioners present. <br />The Proposed Alameda County Highway Master Plaa by Wilbur Smith, waa discussed. It was <br />suggested that the City Engineer make s study sad report on the roads sad highways planned <br />thsrough and incompaeaing Pleasanton. <br />A Study Seasioa on the Subdivision Ordinance wsa set Yor the regular Planning Commission <br />meeting on August 20, 1959• <br />As there was no further business to come before the commission the meeting was adjourned <br />at 10:40 P.M. to meet again at the next regular session on August 20, 1959 <br />Secretary <br />
