IN THE PLANNING COMgISSION OF THL' CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAAfF'DA - STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />Minutes <br />April 16, 1959 <br />The meeting of the Pleasanton Planning Commission was called to order at the City <br />Hall on April 16, 1959, at 8 o'clock, Vice Chairman Hanifen presiding. <br />Roll Call: Present - Commissioners Lozano, Wharton, Mitchell <br />Absent - Comrissioners Allison, DeVor, Wetherby <br />The application of Raymond A. Dijos for a Conditional Zoning Permit to construct a <br />duplex, located at 119 Rose Ave. was considered. Mr. Henry was present to represent <br />Raymond Dijos and explained his proposal and sketch, On motion of Commissioner <br />Wharton, Seconded by Commissioner Lozano, RESOLUTION N0. 57 granting the Conditional <br />Zoning Permit was approved stating that a public hearing is not deemed necessary; <br />that the conditions of the pertinent sections of Ordinance No, 293 have been met, <br />by the following vots+ <br />Ayes - Lozano, Wharton, Hanifen <br />Noes - Mitchell <br />Conditions granting the permit were as follows; (1) A 3-2 Ratio of off-street park- <br />ing; (2) Minimum side yard requirement of 7'; (3) House numbers on both units <br />must be visible from Rose Ave. <br />A referral from the Alameda County Planning Commission of an application for a Sand <br />and Gravel pit permit was presented, Mr. Sweeney described the location of the <br />proposed quarry. On motion of Commissioner 6Jharton, seconded by Coimnissioner Lozano <br />and approved by all present a letter will be directed to the County Planning Com- <br />mission stating that the Pleasanton Commission has no objection to the granting of <br />the permit. <br />The commission discussed the proposed Industrial Park llistrict. Item 14 A.4 was <br />changed to read "modified from the standards", District Classification was deleted <br />from Section 14 A. S, altering lot area to read; 20,000 sq. ft. and less than 40,000 <br />sq. ft,; 40,000 sq. ft. and less than 120,000 sq. ft; and 120,000 sq. ft. or more. <br />Adding "and landscaping approval" to section 14 A.6.2. On motion of Commissioner <br />Mitchell, seconded by Commissioner Wharton and approved by all present Articles <br />14.A (I.P. Industrial Park District); 18,4 (Site Plan and Architectural Approval); <br />and 18.5 (Planned Unit Development Approval) were referred to the City Council for <br />further atudp. <br />A letter from the Division of Highways relative to .Route 107 was read. The District <br />Engineer requested that any plans for new development; in the area under consideration <br />be refered to the Division of Highways. <br />The letter of resignation of Commissioner Charles R. Wharton was read. <br />On motion of Commissioner Hanifen, seconded by Commissioner Lozano and approved by <br />all Commissioners present, the minutes of the Meeting of April 2, 1959 were approved <br />as submitted. <br />As there was no further business to come before the commission the meeting was <br />adjourned at 9;55 P.Pf. to Diay 7, 1959 <br />Secretary <br /> <br />
