IN THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />Minutes <br />July 7, 1960 <br />The regularly scheduled meeting of the Pleasanton Planning Commission was called to <br />order at the City Hall on July 7, 1960 at 8:00 P.M. Chairman Ralph Mitchell presiding. <br />ROLL CALL: Present - Commissioners Allison, Hanifen and Mitchell <br />Absent - Commissioners Lyndon and Lozano <br />On motion of Commissioner Hanifen, seconded by Commissioner Allison and approved by <br />all Commissioners present, the minutes of June 2, 1960 were approved as forwarded. <br />Dr. Howard Long then came before the Planning Commission with his application for a <br />'Coning Permit to construct a Medical Building at 363 St. Marys Street. <br />Commissioner Hanifen moved that we accept the Site Plan and Architectural Approval,as <br />stated in Section 19.801+ of 'Coning Ordinance No. 309, submitted by Dr. Howard Long this <br />7th day of July, 1960. Seconded by Commissioner Allison. Motion so Carried. <br />Discussion was held on Park and Recreational Needs Report by Mr. Christen. Mr. Christen <br />read and summarized the Report for the Planning Commission. The Report was referred to <br />the next meeting. <br />Dis:ussion was held on Regional Planning for the Bay Area. <br />Discussion was then held on Planning Commission Public Hearing Procedures. On motion of <br />Commissioner Hanifen, seconded by Commissioner Allison, and approved by all Commissioners <br />present, RESOLUTION N0. 111 was adopted. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 111 <br />Planning Commission <br />City of Pleasanton <br />County of Alameda <br />State of California <br />Resolved: <br />The Secretary of the Planning Commission is hereby authorized and instructed, <br />upon receipt of any application requiring a Public Hearing, under City Zoning Ordinance <br />or Government Code of the State of California, to proceed without further action by this <br />Committee, as follows: <br />1) To set a date of hearing as soon as possible, considering publishing dates <br />and Planning Commission meetings. <br />2) To send notice to the Pleasanton Times for publishing. <br />3) To send notice to Superintendent of Streets for posting in area of proposed <br />land use. <br />Letter from Board of Supervisors referring Planning Commission Letter relative to Stanley <br />Blvd. street trees to County Surveyor. <br />Discussion on Communication from the County Planning Commission regarding the Parks <br />Community Service District Sewage Disposal Plant Use Permit. <br />There being no further business to come before the Commission, on motion of Commissioner <br />Hanifen, seconded by Commissioner Allison and approved by all Commissioners present, the <br />meeting was adjourned at 9:20 P.M., to meet again on July 21, 1960 at 8:00 P.M. at the <br />City Hall. <br />Secretary <br />
