IN T$E PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />Minutes <br />November 3, 1960 <br />The regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Conmisaion was called to order <br />at the City Hall on November 3, 1960 at 8:00 P.M. with Vice Chairman Phillip Landon <br />presiding. <br />ROLL CALL: Present - Coamissionera Allison, Hanifen and Lozano <br />Absent. - Chaiiman Mitchell <br />On motion of Commissioner Henifen, seconded by Commissioner Lozano, and approved <br />by all Commissioners present the Minutes of September 15, 1960 were approved as forwarded. <br />George Hansen then came before the Commission with his application for Site Plan <br />and Architectural Approvals to add on to s garage at k10 Mnin Street. Oa Motion of <br />Commissioner Lozano, seconded by Commissioner Allison, sad approved by sll Ca®isaioners <br />present, Resolution No. 122 was granted. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 122 <br />Whereas, the application of George Hansen for a Site Plan and Architectural <br />Approval to add on to a Garage at k10 Main Street, having came before this Cwmdsaion <br />November 3, 1960, under Ordinance #309 (Zoning Ordinance) as amended , the Planning <br />Commission does hereby Resolve as follows: <br />1. The planning Commission does find as follows: <br />a) Notice has been given as required by law. <br />b) The circumstances required by section 19.1003 of said Ordinance #309 <br />do exist. <br />2. Site Plan and Architectural Approval is hereby granted. <br />3. A copy of this Resolution shall be sentt~.ntereated parties. <br />Edwin Glaser then came before the Coamission with his application for a Conditional <br />Use permit to reconstruct a non-conforming structure st 117 Main Street. On Motion of <br />Ceam~issioner HaniYea, seconded by Commissioner Lozano, and approved by all Commissioners <br />present, a Public Hearing Date was set for November 17, 1960, at 8:00 p.l[. <br />Mr. J. Vallariao then came before the Commission with his application for a Zoning <br />Ordinance Amendment, which would reaone the property located at 3857 Vineyard Avenue from <br />R-1 to R-G, allowing Mr. Vallariao to construct four-plex dwelling units. On motion of <br />Comeissioner Allison, seconded by Commissioner Lozano, and approved by all Commiasioaera <br />present, a Public Hearing date was set for December 1, 1960 at B:00 P.M. <br />Oliver de Silver's application fora Permit to Operate a Sand and Gravel Pit on <br />Stanley Boulevard was read. Vice Chairman Landon read the Resolutba from the City <br />Council opposing the Pit. The Ceamisaion agreed to wait until the next meeting, to <br />see whether or not the Council refers the matter back to the Planning Commission. <br />The Secretary read a letter form Dr. Haskell, requesting the thinking oY the <br />Planning Commission on the matter of making the Pleasanton Elementary Schools Junior <br />High School. Commissioner Allison moved that the Planning Commission recommend to the <br />City Council that the eLosen site Yor the new Junior High School fits into the future <br />plan of Pleasanton. Seconded by Commissioner Lozano and approved by all Commissioners <br />present. <br />There being no further business to came before the Commission, on motion of <br />Commissioner Hsaifen, seconded by CoaIDtissioner Lozano, aaapproved by a Commissioners <br />present, the meeting was ad3ourned at 9:15 P.M. to meet in on <br />at 8x.00 P.M. at the City Hall.. <br />
