IN THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />Minutes <br />July 20, 1961 <br />The regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission was called to <br />order by the Chairman Ralph Mitchell, at 8:05 P.M., on the above date. <br />ROLL CALL showed present: Commissioners Antonini, Landon, Lozano and Rega. <br />Ex-Officio Commissioners Hohn and Ramp. absent: Ex-Officio Commissioners Dana <br />and King. <br />On motion oP Commissioner Landon, seconded b Commissioner Rega and approved <br />by all Commissioners present the minutes of June 28, and July 6, 1961 were approved <br />as forwarded. <br />Stover A Bullard's application for a 5' Variance from front yard setback <br />requirements in an R-1 Di strict. at 684 Bonita, was reviewed by the Commission. Staff <br />recommended granting of the Variance. On motion of Commissioner Landon, seconded by <br />Commission Lozano and approved by all Commissioners present, RESOLUTION N0. 157 was <br />adopted. <br />RESOLUTION No. 157 /} <br />Whereas, the application of Stover ~ Bullard, for a 5' Variance from Ybnt yard <br />setbacx requirements, at 684 Bonita, to construct a dwelling, having come before this <br />Commission July 20, 1961, under Ordinance No. 209, (Zoning Ordinance), as amended, the <br />Planning Commission does hereby resolve as follows: <br />1. The Planning Commission does find as follows: <br />s. Notice has been given as required by law. <br />b. The circumstances required by Section 19.1003 of said <br />Ordinance No. 309 exist. <br />2. A 5' Variance is hereby granted. <br />3. A copy of this Resolution shall be sent to interested parties. <br />Application of W. J. McCloud for a Variance from Article 13, in Order to <br />place a temporary dwelling, in the Porm of a trailer, to the rear of 4340 Railroad <br />Avenue in a C-G {(gleral Commercial) district,. was brought before the Commission. <br />Attorney Struthers explained the ruling of the Zoning Ordinance on this matter, <br />and Secretary Falea stated the Staff recommends granting of the Variance. After <br />much discussion the Commission, on motion of Commissioner Rega, seconded by Conmmi.ssioner <br />Antonini and approved by all Commissioners present, adopted RESOLUTION N0. 158. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 158 R <br />Whereas, the application of Walter J. McCloud, for a Variance from Article 13, <br />1n order to pace a temporary dwellings in the form of a trailer, to the rear of 4340 <br />Railroad Avenue, in a C-G (General Commercial) district, having come before this <br />Corrnnission July 20, 1961, under Ordinance 309, (Zoning Ordinance) as amended, the <br />Planning Commission does hereby resolve as follows: <br />1. That the findings required by Section 19.1003 of the Zoning Ordinance <br />are made as follows: <br />a. That the Variance is necessary to exercise property rights. <br />b. That the Variance will not be detrimental to adjacent property. <br />c.
